Bromelain is a naturally occurring enzyme extracted from the stem of the pineapple plant which is recommended by our experts as a perfect partner to any glucosamine supplement.

Bromelain extract is a mixture of enzymes called proteolytic enzymes or proteases and several other substances in smaller quantities. Bromelain is present in all parts of the pineapple plant (Ananas comosus) but the stem is the most common commercial source.

Each of our Bromelain tablets is standardised to provide 300mg pure bromelain extract.
