Cerebrum® (Vegetarian DHA)

Vegetarian Omega-3 DHA.

One of the only approved vegetarian oil forms in the world, Cerebrum provides a unique, patented form of vegetarian omega 3 essential fatty acid DHA, extracted from algal oil. Two capsules now provide 526mg of algal oil which includes an impressive 200mg of omega 3 DHA. 

Essential fatty acids are called ‘essential’ because our bodies cannot make enough to supply our needs so they must be obtained from our diet. Ideally, our intake of omega 3 should come from a balanced diet which includes plenty of oily fish but naturally this is difficult for vegetarians.

Cerebrum capsules offer an ideal alternative for those that don’t eat oily fish. Our experts would recommend that anyone taking a vegetarian source of DHA should also consider Flaxseed Oil which provides the other essential fatty acid, EPA.
