Healthspan’s Optiflex Glucosamine HCl provides 40% more pure glucosamine per gram than standard glucosamine sulphate 2KCl. Unlike the more common glucosamine sulphate form (predominantly sourced from shellfish) Optiflex Glucosamine HCl is produced from natural plant sources by a special process of fermentation making it completely shellfish-free, purer and more concentrated than the standard form. 

The chondroitin sulphate used in this superior Healthspan formulation is sourced exclusively from marine sources rather than bovine chondroitin sulphate sourced from cartilage of cattle. It is important to note that we also only use 90% marine chondroitin in our products, sourced exclusively from fish. Many companies use low strength and far cheaper 20% strength.
