To create Healthspan St Clements Cod Liver Oil, we begin with the purest cod liver oil taken from the unpolluted fisheries of Iceland. We then refine it further using our advanced 'filter-pure' technology to provide a higher concentration of valuable Omega 3 fatty acids (DHA and EPA) per capsule. Our oil is then passed through a special deodorising process to ´neutralise' both its smell and taste. However, even the purest ´neutralised´ cod liver oil, still tastes slightly of fish when you swallow it. That's why we created St Clements.
