Your Shopping Basket explained

When you click on a product’s add to basket or buy now button or link, the selected product will be added to your basket in the top right hand part of the site. If your basket already contains products, this will be shown as the number of “items” in your basket.

To view the products that are in your basket, put your mouse over or click the View basket button, you will be shown what is in your basket. If you want to remove a product, click on the small X next to the product, which will remove them from your basket.

To purchase, click on the Checkout or Secure Checkout button, which will take you to the check out process, where you can register or sign in to make the payments for your products.

UK Postage and Packing: You have 2 delivery options - Lowest Cost Delivery or Express Delivery, both provided to you by PostDirect. Prices on delivery options differ. Why is shopping online with Healthspan so secure?

Here at Healthspan we take online security very seriously. We’d like to assure you that we take great care to protect the personal information you send to us over the internet. All credit and debit card purchases are processed directly using a PCI (Payment Card Industry) compliant card processing company; Healthspan employees have no access to this information whatsoever.

If you request that we store your card details, then we will only store a reference number to an account saved securely with our card processing company. We do not store actual credit card information like card numbers or CVV numbers (3 digit security codes) on our website. You can rest assured that in the very unlikely event that our security is breached, your personally identifiable financial data is not stored anywhere on our systems.

All data sent over the internet to our website is encrypted using 2048bit encryption (look for the padlock symbol in your web browser) making sure that your details cannot be read whilst travelling over the internet.

Refunds and Returns

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your Healthspan product we offer a 'no quibble' refund or exchange for your item.
To do so please:
  1. Enclose a brief note explaining the reason for return and the item you wish to exchange these with. Also payment if any difference in cost.
  2. Cross out your name and address (leaving visible)
  3. Write "FREEPOST Healthspan" on the box.
  4. Take the parcel to the Post Office to return to us free of charge.
Please inform us if you experience problems doing so and we will send free post labels.

How do I create an account?

To create an account with Healthspan, simply click on "Register" at the top of the page:

This will take you to the registration page where you are required to enter your name, email address and your address. We guarantee that we will not sell or pass your data to a third party outside the Healthspan Group, in the normal course of business, unless that third party requires the data to provide you with your order or in the course of communicating with you as a customer. As part of our customer charter we will process your personal data fairly and lawfully.
Once you’ve entered all the required details (marked with a *) and agreed to the Terms & Conditions click Register button
Once completed you’ll be taken to your account page where you can amend personal details, your address book, marketing preferences and contact customer services.

Can I get a receipt for ?

Upon completion of your order online Healthspan will send you an automated email with your order reference number and details of your order placed.

Changing your contact details

Once logged in you can amend your contact details. Click on "My Account" at the top of the page: My Account link screenshot
This will take you to your account page, from here click on "Personal Details". You can change your name, email address or password within personal details.

Saving your card details with Healthspan

Healthspan offer you the option to save your credit/debit card details to save time on your next visit. When you have entered your card details on the “Confirm & Pay” page, simply select the box labelled “Please tick this box to save your credit card details” and your card details will be saved as a token using the securest encryption available by a PCI-compliant provider and is not accessible by Healthspan. Saving your card details is completely optional and by default will not be stored unless you check this box.

When saving your card details, you are required to “Name this card”, so you can easily differentiate between cards, as once the card details are saved they are encrypted for security reasons. If you choose to store your payment details you will be able to simply select your chosen debit/credit card from the drop-down list, to quickly and securely complete your transaction.

Cancelling or amending your order

All orders will be dispatched within 24 hours by your selected delivery supplier (all orders placed on Fridays, weekends and public holidays despatched within 24 hours after the next working day). If for any reason you wish to cancel or make a change to your order we advise that you contact our call centre immediately on 0800 73 123 77 (Open from 9am to 6pm, 7 days a week) we cannot guarantee that your order can always be cancelled or changed before it is despatched.

Why are THR products only shipped to the UK?

As of the 1st May 2011 certain herbal preparations require licensing under EU legislation as these are now classed as herbal medicines. These products will carry the THR (Traditional Herbal Register) logo. Due to the introduction of the THR scheme some herbal preparations are no longer available as a food supplement from Healthspan. It is important to understand that the THR registration and its conditions is not a choice for the companies providing this herb, it is now law.

Regrettably, we are not permitted to supply our THR products to customers outside of the UK as the EU legislation is member state specific, so an MHRA registered product such as ours would not be recognised in other European countries.

My order hasn’t been received

Your order will be despatched by your selected delivery supplier, your order is regularly subject to routine checks by HM Customs and the like therefore we ask that you allow 10 days for orders in the UK, 21 for Europe and 28 days worldwide before contacting us on the whereabouts of your order. In the unlikely and unfortunate event that your order is still not received within in this time frame please contact us at customercare@healthspan.co.uk and we will arrange for a replacement as soon as possible.

Only part of my order has arrived

If there is a problem with an individual product in your order it won’t hold your order up. It is common for your order to get split up by the postal services and sometimes you may receive only half your order one day and the rest the following day.

When will my order be despatched?

All orders are despatched within 24 hours of the order being placed by your selected delivery supplier. If you order on a Friday, Saturday, Sunday or a public holiday your order is generally despatched by your selected delivery supplier the next working day.

The website is not accepting my card

Healthspan does not accept American Express or Diner’s Club cards, if your card is not one of these and is still not being accepted please contact us on 0800 73 123 77.

What methods of payment do you accept?

Online, via our call centres, by fax and in our shops we accept all major credit/debit cards. (We do not accept American Express or Diner’s Club cards)
If ordering by post we accept payment by credit card or cheque. We recommend you do not send cash in the post.

Add the product to your basket:

Once you have found the correct product(s), simply select the option that you want (capsule/tablet number and price) and click "Add to basket".

Specify quantities and proceed to checkout:

Once you have added the desired item to your basket, you can view your basket by clicking Quick Basket header once on the basket page you can adjust the quantities to your required amount and click "update" to confirm. You can then continue to shop for additional items, or if you have finished shopping, select the "proceed to checkout" button to place your order.

Alternatively you can proceed straight to the checkout from the product page by clicking "Checkout >" on the top right corner of the page.
