Agnus Castus - Premenstrual Relief

Agnus Castus Premenstrual Relief (THR) is a traditional herbal medicine used to relieve the symptoms of premenstrual syndrome (PMS). If you suffer from menstrual cramps, bloating and breast tenderness at that time of the month, you may be able to find relief by taking Agnus Castus Premenstrual Relief (THR).

This extract from the fruits of the Agnus Castus herb also helps with irritability and mood swings, based on traditional use. Just take one tablet daily – if possible at the same time each day – and those uncomfortable feelings associated with PMS could be a thing of the past. Some women may need to take this product for up to three months for maximum benefit.

Each tablet contains 4mg of extract, equivalent to 28-52mg of fresh Agnus Castus.

A THR has been granted for any herbal product that has the basis of 30 years safe traditional use, 15 years of which must be demonstrated within the EU, and only for those that have undergone extensive quality assurance testing in the same way that conventional medicines are quality tested.

Also referred to as Monk’s pepper, Agnus castus was historically employed by Monks throughout the centuries as an anaphrodisiac or anti-libido, in an effort to aid their attempts of celibacy. This is also why the tree from which it comes is appropriately named the chaste tree. Today however, it is used by women to help maintain a healthy hormonal balance and ease symptoms of PMS and the menopause.
