Retinex® contains the powerful antioxidant Lutein, a natural antioxidant carotenoid that is found in many fruits and vegetables as well as in the eye, where it is partly converted into zeaxanthin.

In the eye, Lutein is deposited mainly in the lens and in the central retina (the macula) where it is partly converted into Zeaxanthin.

Each Healthspan Retinex tablet contains 10mg of natural Lutein and 1,000mcg of Zeaxanthin.

Our experts recommend upgrading to OptiVision®, which contains 10mg Lutein along with 280mg DHA and 40mg EPA, 2,000mcg zeaxanthin plus vitamin B2 to support the maintenance of normal vision.
