Every night, at bedtime, apply a small pearl sized amount to the fingertips and massage gently into face and neck after cleansing and toning, avoiding the delicate eye area. If you have not used retinol before, build up use over a 2 week period, alternating each night with our 12hr multi-active moisturising night cream or your usual night cream.
As with all skincare products, we would recommend you conduct a patch test for 24 hours to check suitability for your skin. This highly effective product should be used at night time only as vitamin A can oxidise when it comes into contact with sunlight and become ineffective. As with all retinol products, you may experience a slight tingling or redness, this is normal and shows the product is working. However, should irritation continue, use on alternate days for 1-2 weeks to help your skin acclimatise to this very effective ingredient. If irritation persists, discontinue use. Please read the label carefully, retinol (vitamin A) is a highly effective ingredient and products containing it may not suit all skin types.
