Vitamin C is an essential vitamin however the body does not store Vitamin C, so a regular daily intake is required. Each 500mg (625% NRV) tablet is made using a special process that ‘meshes’ the vitamin with a plant cellulose so that it breaks down gradually to release vitamin C. Zinc is also included as it contributes to the normal function of the immune system.

Because Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin, it is not stored in the body for very long. This means that a regular intake is needed to keep the levels topped up. The benefits of Vitamin C are many and varied, they include; the support of the immune system, the reduction of tiredness and fatigue and the normal function of the nervous system.

Take these as a cold preventative as Echinacea product discontinued, currently gave a groggy cold but it is the first in a long time and I used to get them often. I like to think these help and attribute less colds partly to these and partly to the fact that for last few years I have an outside job instead of an office one where germs are more easily oassed around.
