What is Magnesium?

Magnesium is one of the most important and abundant minerals found in the body, with 50% of the body's supply residing in bones. Magnesium plays a number of important roles in the body including contributing to the maintenance of normal bones and teeth and helping the body convert food into energy.

Why Healthspan's Magnesium Supplement?

Each of our one-a-day tablets contains 375mg Magnesium plus the full range of B Complex vitamins to support the role of magnesium in the production of energy and in the maintenance of normal psychological and functions. Each tablet also contains 50% NRV of vitamin C which completes this unique formulation.

Why should I supplement with Magnesium?

Magnesium deficiencies are not uncommon particularly in women and the elderly. Whilst magnesium is found in green leafy vegetables, whole grains, nuts, fish, dairy and meat, they all depend on the magnesium content of soil, which is largely variable and often deficient itself.

I tend to suffer badly with night cramps and used to take Quinine Sulphate. My GP did not wish to continue prescribing this but suggested I try Magnesium. This I did try and it works very well. I can still get cramp but I can cope with it easily. If I forget to take it even for one day the cramp can be so severe that I can pass out. So as you will guess I am very satisfied with the outcome.

As above. I don't mean to be negative ,however any change in 'help' from the products could be attributed to the placebo affect anyway.
