Blueberry Smoothie Bowl

Serves 1

We all need a healthy and balanced breakfast to start the day with! Blueberries are low in calories, but high in nutrients including fibre, vitamin C and K and manganese; these little berries also have the highest antioxidant capacity of all popular fruit and vegetables, helping to protect your body from free radicals.


  • 200g frozen blueberries
  • 1 small avocado
  • 1/2 a ripe frozen banana
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 date, pitted
  • 200ml coconut water
  • Variety of nuts, seeds and coconut shavings for topping


  1. Place all ingredients in a food processor and blitz until smooth
  2. Divide mixture between two bowls and top with nuts, seeds and shaved coconut.
