These aren’t normal brownies... they're packed full of goodness! Vitamin E, magnesium, and copper from the dark chocolate, and all with a minty hint from Healthspan's CBD oil.  


  • 200g butter, cut into cubes
  • 200g dark chocolate, roughly chopped
  • 100g plain flour
  • 50g cocoa
  • 3 large eggs
  • 200g golden caster sugar
  • 12 drops CBD oil
  • 50g toasted almonds, chopped
  • 100g mint chocolate bar, roughly chopped
  • 20g milk chocolate chips

Cooking and prep time: 50 minutes


  1. Preheat your oven to 180/160 fan and grease and line a 20cm x 20cm brownie pan.
  2. Place your butter and dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl and place over a saucepan with a little water in, making sure the water does not touch the bottom of the bowl, and bring to boil, gently melting the butter and chocolate, stir with a spatula every now and then to get rid of lumps, then set aside.
  3. Sift your flour and cocoa powder together and set aside.
  4. Crack your eggs into a large bowl, then pour in the sugar and whisk until it’s completely mixed and creamy. Pour in your melted chocolate and butter and stir to combine. Drop in your CBD oil and gently mix.
  5. Gently fold in your flour and cocoa mix, then gently mix through the chopped almonds and mint chocolate bar then pour the mixture into your brownie tin.
  6. Lastly sprinkle the top with the milk chocolate chips and put into the heated oven for 20 – 30 minutes until just set in the middle.
  7. Remove from oven and leave to cool on a wire rack for ten minutes before cutting into 12 slices.
