We’re all creatures of habit, so we do a lot of the same things everyday, at around the same time. This applies to our skin and hair care too – we find a routine and we stick to it, whether or not it is actually giving our skin and hair everything it needs. Could your skin benefit from a few extra tips throughout the day?

Fresh from the shower, begin with a serum and then use a moisturiser which cares for your skin’s particular needs and protects it from whatever the day throws at you.

Try adding a hair oil to your routine to make sure every day is a good hair day. Simply apply from the mid-lengths to the ends of towel-dried hair. If you feel your hair is still a bit flyaway after it is fully dry, you can apply a little more to tame.

Always on hand

On average we wash our hands more than 10 times a day, which strips the skin of its natural oils. On top of this, our hands do all sorts of hard work for us, so it’s no surprise that our skin in this area suffers! Keep hands looking their best by regularly applying a hand cream – after all, our hands are one of the areas most on-show yet least looked after.

Our top tip is to keep a hand cream in your handbag and one by the bathroom sink so you’re never without.

Time for beauty sleep

During the night your body naturally repairs and restores itself for the next day. This means that skin works harder to absorb nutrients while you sleep so it’s the perfect time for anti-ageing!
