There’s the kind of summer shower that cancels your trip to the beach, then there’s the kind of shower that’s perfect for any summer day…

Whether it’s a refreshing shower after a sandy day at the beach or an invigorating kick-start to the day, investing in your shower routine can turn it from a bit of chore to a skin and hair care treat. For the perfect shower this summertime, here are our expert tips.

Switching between hot and cold water (try two minutes of warm, followed by one minute of cold, then repeat) can boost circulation, improve lymphatic movement and can help improve the appearance of skin and hair.

Lather up

Most of us love the ultimate relaxation of having our hair washed at the salon – plus your hair looks great for days afterwards too. First, ensure hair is well saturated with water before applying shampoo – this will help induce a proper lather and allow the scalp and roots to be washed thoroughly.
