I moisturise - why do I need a serum too?
The molecules of a serum are much smaller than the molecules of a moisturiser, meaning that they can penetrate deeper into the skin (while moisturisers act on the surface of skin). Serums are also highly concentrated, meaning you can pack more nutrients into your skincare routine with no extra fuss.
How can a serum make my skin look younger?
Make-up artists say that when used everyday, serums make skin firmer and smoother, increase moisture levels and reduce the appearance of large pores. The Replenish Collagen Boosting Serum contains phytoestrogens to help replenish the skin’s collagen (which is essential for a youthful appearance), plus RonaCare® to help reduce wrinkle depth and Matrixyl™ to help restructure and repair, leading to a visible improvement in skin firmness.
What do I need to remember?
- Apply your serum to freshly cleansed, toned skin (preferably whilst skin is still slightly damp, to aid absorption), morning and evening.
- Good quality serums are highly concentrated and spread well, so a blob the size of a 10p coin should be enough for your face and neck (skincare doesn’t stop at the chin!)
- Follow with your normal moisturiser.
