Thank you NightRiders of 2014!

Well done to our Healthspan Team; Luisa, Tim, another Tim, James, Simon, Rollo, Sandra, Laura, David, Malcolm, Tristan and Katie for taking part in the NightRide 2014. They joined hundreds of other cyclists, riding over 10,500 miles, to raise money for two local charities – Autism Guernsey and the Priaulx Premature Baby Foundation. And with 377 cyclists this year, things are just getting bigger and better!
Now in its second year the NightRide, sponsored by Healthspan, sees cyclists set off at dusk along one of four routes: the 10 mile Sunset Cruise, the 25 mile Moonlight Meander, the 50 mile Night Shift and the 75 mile Nihilist Nocturne. This year even saw a penny farthing take to the roads of Guernsey!
Healthspan's Rollo de Sausmarez, Chairman of the Guernsey Bicycle Group said "Cycling is rocketing in popularity and we’re delighted that Healthspan’s NightRide helps even more people discover how fun, sociable and safe riding a bike can be. Last year the 300 people riding together created a truly magical atmosphere and this year was even better!"
Thank you to everyone who donated money helping us raise over £9,000 and for all the support we received on the night and in the build up to the event.
Lots of photos of the event can be found on the Guernsey Bicycle Group Facebook page.
Next year's event is already pencilled in for September 19th 2015- save the date!
