What is Joint-Care?
It’s a clever combination of premium-quality cod liver oil and glucosamine plus vitamin C.
Glucosamine, which is found naturally in our joints, is a compound needed to form cartilage, the flexible tissue that protects the ends of our bones from friction when we move. As we get older, our bodies produce less of it, leaving our joints more vulnerable to damage, especially from impact exercise such as running and jumping.
Unfortunately, it’s not possible to get much glucosamine from your diet, which is why we’ve put it in a supplement. We should point out that there are, as yet, no approved EU health claims for glucosamine supplements, but it’s been extensively researched and is taken by thousands of people worldwide.
There’s also cod liver oil, enriched with omega 3 fatty acids DHA and EPA. Cod liver oil is naturally rich in both vitamin D, vital for healthy bones and muscles, and vitamin A, beneficial for vision and immunity, among other things.
For good measure, we’ve also added vitamin C, which contributes to the formation of collagen, a substance crucial for cartilage formation.
