What are cranberries?
Cranberries have been part of Northern American diets since the 16th century. Back then, cranberries were eaten fresh or mashed with cornmeal and baked into bread. Northern American sailors and whalers carried cranberries onboard to prevent scurvy, a condition that can occur if your vitamin C intake is insufficient.
These days, cranberries are enjoyed across the world in juices and teas. And, although there are no approved European health claims as yet, cranberry supplements have become particularly popular with thousands of women to support urinary tract health.
Why is ours better?
Our capsules mark a break-through in cranberry supplementation. Most formulations out there focus solely on the levels of proanthocyanidins (PACs) – the biologically active flavonoid found in cranberries. Our supplement however not only contain high levels of this flavonoid, but also other important compounds such as phenolics, organic acids, fibre and fatty acids.
Following on the path of 16th century’s Native Americans, we make our capsules exclusively from North American Vaccinium macrocarpon cranberries. Each capsule contains 500mg of highly concentrated cranberry powder, equivalent to 25,000mg whole cranberries! We also add vitamin C to protect your cells from oxidative stress and support immune health.
Even better, we use an advanced, 100% natural manufacturing process without the use of chemicals or solvents. This process captures the essential nutrients of the whole berry, including the skin, flesh, seeds and juice.
Who is this for?
