Zinc is one of the most important minerals used by the body and is mostly found in high protein foods such as meat, fish (in particular shellfish), nuts and seeds. The body does not produce or store Zinc so a regular supply in the diet is required.

Each small, easy to swallow tablet contains 15mg of Zinc (150% RDA) in the form of Zinc Citrate. Many nutritionists now prefer the citrate form of Zinc over other types of Zinc compound as it is readily absorbed in the body. Each tablet also contains 80mg Vitamin C (100% RDA) for an extra boost.

Zinc has many functions within the body. For example it is recognised for its contribution to the normal function of the immune system as well as contributing to normal fertility and reproduction.

I have started taking this again as I feel it supports my immune system when I am extremely busy it helps stop me getting run down and also supports my joints as I've been getting aching joints in this hot weather and zinc usually helps with this.

These tablets for me have been amazing if you are feeling a bit rough or have not been well they really help you get back on your feet and also help you get through a busy day.

Bought to help fight off recurrent chest infections and haven't suffered one since taking them (although it is more in winter I suffer). However I have noticed that my once brittle and flaky nails are now noticeably much stronger so my husband is taking them too as his nails were weak. My daughter kept getting mouth ulcers and now she takes one zinc tablet a day she is clear of them! Excellent product and extremely inexpensive for such results.
