Description

What is Vitamin B Complex?

It's a group of eight essential B vitamins, including biotin and folic acid, that work together to make sure that our bodies' systems are operating efficiently. B−complex vitamins have a long list of functions, including maintaining heart health, supporting mental performance and psychological functions, as well as helping us to process food into energy and combating tiredness and fatigue. Other important jobs include keeping skin, hair and eyes in good condition, maintaining our nervous system, regulating hormones, supporting immunity and helping the formation of red blood cells, which take oxygen and nutrients to where they are needed. It wasn't until the late 19th century that scientists began to twig that not all diseases are caused by germs. That's when research began in earnest to isolate food compounds that are vital for good health. By the mid−20th century, the entire family of B vitamins had been discovered, and major steps were taken to reduce nutritional deficiencies.

Why is ours better?

Because B vitamins are water−soluble, we can't store them, so it's important to have a regular intake. To help safeguard your levels, we've included 100 % NRV of all eight B vitamins, including biotin and folic acid, in one daily tablet. NRV stands for 'Nutrient Reference Value' − the daily intake the EU recommends to prevent deficiencies.

Who is this for?

This vitamin B complex supplement is ideal for those who want to support their brain, heart and energy levels. Our vitamin B complex tablets are also suitable for vegetarians and vegans, who may not be getting enough of these important vitamins, because although many of them are present in a variety of foods, the best sources are often meat, eggs and dairy products.
