What are cod liver oil and calcium?
It could be argued that the Vikings first discovered the benefits of cod liver oil − spending time extracting the oil from cod's livers on tree branches draped over steam. Perhaps they knew that cod liver oil contains the omega 3 fatty acids DHA (docosahexaenoic acid’) and EPA
(eicosapentaenoic acid’), as well as the vitamins A and D. These nutrients make cod liver oil a top choice for supporting eye, brain, heart and immune health, and even bones and teeth. Calcium is the most abundant metallic element in the human body − with most of it in our bones and teeth where it helps keep them strong and healthy.
