What is Super Strength Krill Oil?

Krill are tiny crustaceans about the size of your little finger that live at the bottom of the marine food chain and feed on nutrient−rich algae. They provide high levels of omega-3 and a powerful antioxidant called astaxanthin which give krill oil their natural deep red colour. Krill oil is thought to be more easily absorbed compared to standard fish oils and this is down to the presence of marine phospholipids. These act as a natural emulsifier to aid in the digestion of the omega 3 fatty acids naturally present in the oil. This means that these fatty acids are integrated into our cell membranes more quickly and efficiently, and therefore better utilised by our body’s cells.

It is exclusively from Euphausia superba, an Antarctic krill species rich in omega−3 fatty acids EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid), as well as phospholipids, astaxanthin and choline. The phospholipid−bound omega 3 fatty acids are water dispersible, making them gentler on the stomach and better absorbed by the body, ensuring a successful delivery to the brain, heart, eyes, and liver. Our capsules are easy to digest causing no reflux, they are easily absorbed and even have vanilla flavouring to ensure they don't smell or taste fishy.
