What is Super Strength Omega 3?
It’s a highly concentrated, purified and sustainably sourced fish oil with high levels of omega 3 fatty acids per capsule. You only have one body so it makes perfect sense to do all you can to keep it in good condition. And while following a healthy lifestyle is key, omega 3 fatty acids provide that extra help. Omega 3 fish oils contain Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA) and Eicosapentaenoic Acid (EPA), two long−chain fatty acids that are considered to be the most beneficial types of omega 3. And research has proven that they maintain overall heart health, as well as helping our brains and vision to function normally.*
The fish content in the Mediterranean diet is one of the reasons scientists have long recommended it for good health. In fact, fish are so good for us that the UK's Food Standards Agency recommends we follow the example of our European neighbours and eat at least two portions of fish every week, including one of oily fish, such as mackerel, sardines and salmon. Despite this advice, national research shows we simply aren't getting enough.
Why is ours better?
Quality and quantity. Our fish oil is double−distilled to remove all the things you don’t want, such as pollutants and saturated fat, leaving only the purified goodness. And our Omega 3 oil is from fish sustainably sourced in the South Pacific Ocean, with a 'Friend of the Sea' certificate to prove it’s sourced responsibly. Each capsule contains 1200 mg fish oil, of which almost two thirds are pure omega 3 fatty acids (far more than most supplements), with a daily dose providing up to 480 mg DHA and 720 mg EPA.
