What is Super Strength Omega 3, 6 & 9?
Most of us have heard of omega 3. But there are also omega 6 and omega 9. And because balance is key in many aspects of life, from ecosystems to work−leisure time and, of course, diet, getting the balance right between these three dietary components is vital for health. Our Omega 3, 6 & 9 supplement will help you do just that as it contains all three in the correct proportions. It includes fish oil, providing the long−chain omega 3 fatty acids Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA) and Eicosapentaenoic Acid (EPA), which have been shown to be beneficial for our hearts, brains and vision.* It also includes borage oil, providing the omega 6 fatty acids Linolenic Acid (LA) and Gamma Linolenic Acid (GLA), and olive oil, providing the omega 9 fatty acid Oleic Acid (OA). Both, omega 6 and 9, come from a family of unsaturated fatty acids − there's a growing body of research focused in the benefits of replacing saturated fats with unsaturated fats in the diet. Finally, Linolenic Acid is the only essential omega 6 fatty acid, which means the body cannot produce it and must be obtained through diet.
