Formerly Turmeric 10000 This product has been renamed Ayurvedic Turmeric. With its a long history of use in Ayurvedic culture, we decided this pure Turmeric product should sit within our new Ayurveda range. While the name and artwork for this product has changed, the ingredients, price, and high quality remain exactly the same as before.
What is turmeric?
We are all familiar with the delicious golden culinary spice (known as the 'golden spice'), but turmeric has also been used to treat all manner of ailments over the years, and now scientists and nutritionists have taken a renewed interest in this so−called wonder spice, and especially in curcumin, the key ingredient found in the spice, due to its natural properties and specific actions. Turmeric comes from the root of the Curcuma longa plant and is a rich source of curcuminoids. Our tablets are packed with an extract equivalent to 10000 mg whole turmeric root. Vitamin C has been added to support immune health and cartilage formation.*
