    Description

    What is Easyfibre® Inulin?

Inulin is a type of soluble fibre that's also a prebiotic, so it provides double benefit. Being a prebiotic, it helps feed the friendly bacteria in your gut, the type of bacteria that helps your digestive system to absorb nutrients from food and function normally. The more food that's available to the live friendly cultures, the more they will flourish, leaving less room for the undesirable types of bacteria that can lead to a range of unpleasant symptoms, such as constipation, bloating and wind. Easyfibre® Inulin is made from ground chicory root, which is a very good source of inulin soluble fibre. Food surveys in the UK have shown that the average person is only getting 18 g of the recommended 30 g per day of fibre. Inulin powder provides an easy, natural way to add more fibre into your diet. On its journey through your digestive system, inulin absorbs water, softening stools and helping to ease bowel movements.

    Why is ours better?

It's made from 100 % chicory root, so it's a totally natural way to up your fibre intake without making big changes to your diet. You can add it to shakes, smoothies and juices; sprinkle it over your breakfast cereal, or even add it to baking as a fat replacement and binding agent. It makes foods taste creamier and more satisfying, plus it's 10 % as sweet as sugar, so it provides a healthy way to lightly sweeten food and drinks.

    Who is this for?

Inulin food supplements are the ideal solution for those who want to keep regular (soluble fibre) and stimulate the growth of beneficial bacteria (prebiotic).

*Made with chicory inulin which contributes to normal bowel function by increasing stool frequency. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 12 g of chicory inulin.
